Seven months ago I was totally unfamiliar with the online marketing world and its practices. A first introduction made me soon realise that the online advertising industry consists of more than one subset, namely: email marketing, affiliate marketing and lead generation through consumer websites. It is within this last department I was given the opportunity to gain experience. Being backstage of this young, dynamic and culturally diverse company I learned many different things from setting up campaigns, to analyzing traffic quality to optimizing and maximizing our websites’ performance. I have been introduced and involved with every key metric that builds the success for a good working, high revenue generating website. Above all it was very interesting to see how every individual with his or her own cultural and valuable background tries to make their market work, perform and customise to our visitors preferences.
I am glad to have been a part of this fast growing, dynamic and continuously improving company. During these 7 months it was very exciting to see how new projects in France, Spain and the Netherlands have been created and developed. From regular prize draws in all countries, to CPA walls in France and Spain, to promopaths in the Netherlands. Leaving or not, I will be there on the first row to see how these exciting, renewing, customer oriented new projects will work out.
